S.R.Vadera

S. R. Vadera is the Director of Defence Laboratory at Jodhpur and an Outstanding Scientist. Working at the Defence Laboratory since 1983, he is an expert in Mossbauer Spectroscopy, Conducting polymers and Nanomaterials. He was actively associated in the development of strategically important products such as antiradar paint RAP-MK-I, Cam and IRR Paints, antistatic and radio-transparent paint RDM-1, to name a few.

Vadera has 7 patents under his name, and has published more than 60 research papers in international journals and numerous technical reports. He is a mentor of the University of Jodhpur and Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur. He has delivered invited talks on advanced materials including conducting polymers and nanomaterials in several International and National Conference/Seminars. Vadera has represented DRDO to deliver an invited talk on Nanotechnology at an International Conference in Brazil organised by the Brazilian Army in 2009. He is a life member of various professional societies including materials Research Society of India, Magnetics Society of India, Optical Society of India, Indian Association for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Track Society of India. He is a member of National Executive Council of the Materials Research Society of India (MRSI).

Vadera will guide The Jodhpur Initiative in building infrastructure using Smart Technologies.
