Sanjeet Purohit, a Humanities and Law Graduate from the Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, is a well-known Advocate at the High Court of Rajasthan, Jodhpur, and District Courts and Tribunals in Rajasthan. He is the Standing Counsel of the Government of India for the High Court of Rajasthan, Jodhpur. Practicing law since 2001, Purohit is an expert in constitutional, civil, alternate dispute resolution, property & real estate, labor & employment, human rights, and environmental laws.
Purohit is a Member of the Bar Council of India, and has legal enrolments and affiliations with several organizations and institutions in the country. He has been an active member of the working group associated with a number of legislative interventions, including the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010; he authored a Commentary on National Green Tribunal Act, 2010.
Purohit endeavors to achieve sustainable growth in the society. He strikes a delicate balance between preserving the environment & human rights and growing a liberalized economy – one of the major initiatives taken by Purohit along with various organizations, lawyers and other professionals.
